To promote entrepreneurship in the south of the country, Fomento Social Citibanamex and Impact Hub Mexico City announced the Emergente Yucatán program, which seeks to promote entrepreneurship within the state.
Through this program, entrepreneurs have access to training and workshops to help grow their businesses and develop larger businesses, as well as access to spaces for enhancement and exposure.
This edition is expected to benefit 100 projects and has access to PHP 100,000 in prize money, supported by the Yucatecan Entrepreneurs Association and the Yucatan Ministry of Culture.
“Through Emergente Yucatán, we will use creativity as a primary resource for products and services, promoting Yucatecan entrepreneurs in creative industries that contribute to the economic and social growth of the state,” said Director of Fomento Social Citibanamex. emphasized Ana Vanessa González Deister. .
She emphasized that since 2018, the program has supported over 200 ventures from various states across the country.
How to join the program?
The program looks for projects that offer creative products or services, or that use traditional methods while leveraging new technologies.

The program will consist of five bootcamps or regional workshops in March aimed at reaching out to local entrepreneurs.
The first venues will be Maxcanú on Thursday 2 March, Oxkutzcab on Saturday 4 March, Valladolid on 9 March, Tizimín on 11 March and Mérida on 25 March. .
25 projects are selected from these bootcamps to participate in an enhanced experience in the City of Merida, where they receive special training from the country’s entrepreneurship experts. The program will last him one week and will be implemented in April 2023.
Five of the best ventures will then receive financial support from a 100,000 peso fund to participate in the final experience of the Emergente Nacional program in Mexico City.
