Toronto, January 23, 2023–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The York Entrepreneurship Development Institute (YEDI) is committed to addressing the challenges entrepreneurs face in accessing education. As such, the organization is pleased to announce that its Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management Diploma Program is tuition-free for entrepreneurs in Canada.
According to the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, entrepreneurship is a key driver of economic growth, with approximately 20% of the adult population involved in or starting a business. Starting and growing a business can be a daunting task, especially for those without the resources and education. Access to education is a key piece of the puzzle, but tuition fees can be a barrier for many entrepreneurs.
Dr. Marat Ressin, President of YEDI said: “That is why we have made our Diploma Program tuition-free for entrepreneurs in Canada. We believe that anyone with the desire and passion to start a business has the opportunity to do so. I would like to confirm.”
The program covers a variety of topics including business planning, marketing, financial management and leadership. It also provides students with hands-on experience through case studies, workshops, and business simulation exercises. Alongside instructors, he has an extensive database of YEDI mentors who are ready to pass on their first-hand knowledge to help guide the next generation of entrepreneurs to success.
The program is offered full-time and classes are held in the evenings to suit the schedules of working professionals. This program will take approximately 12 months to complete.
YEDI’s mission is to bridge the gap between advanced education and the entrepreneurs who seek it. To achieve this, we have secured funding to make this program tuition-free for innovative Canadian entrepreneurs and small business owners, conditional on academic performance. *(Semester average of 80% or higher academic performance)
YEDI seeks passionate entrepreneurs, small business owners, and employees who want to innovate and improve their industry and profession.
Applications for this program are now being accepted and interested parties can find out more information on the YEDI website.
