Isaiah Jackson (20%)
With Aaron Nesmith and Myles Turner out, Pacers coach Rick Carlyle turned to Jalen Smith and James Johnson as substitutes for Wednesday’s loss to the Knicks. He took a different approach on Friday, promoting Jackson and Chris Duarte, Smith coming off the bench and Johnson receiving a DNP-CD. Jackson excelled defensively, blocking a career-high seven shots and recording 10 points, 10 rebounds and one assist in 28 minutes. Considering how well he played in the game, he should get another starting opportunity.
Oshae Brissett (2%)
Brissett is another Pacers player who took the opportunity to play overtime. Shooting 7 of 12 from the field and 3 of 3 from the foul line, he played 31 minutes off the bench and finished with 17 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. He doesn’t need to add as much as Jackson does, but Brissett is in a worthy place in the short term. It’s worth adding Brissett. Alex Caruso (33%)
The Bulls were again without DeMar DeRozan, which meant a fresh start for Caruso.
