Xfinity’s customers will be able to experience the paid service at no additional cost through its Free This Week program, parent company Comcast said Tuesday. Throughout the year, streaming platforms (e.g. HBO Max) and fitness programs, weekly.
Free This Week is the new version of Xfinity’s Watchathon Week, a program that Comcast debuted ten years ago, giving customers a week of sample content. The new program is available to all his Xfinity customers, including broadband and video customers. Broadband customers can access it with the 4K streaming device Xfinity Flex and video customers with the Xfinity X1.
The first two weeks of content for the 2023 program will be all about fitness. Apps like The Great Courses, Gaia, One Day University, Gaiam TV, Sweat Factor, and FitFusion by Jillian Michaels are free to use during this time.
Other streaming content such as HBO Max, Showtime, History Vault, Revolt and Lifetime Movie Club will also be available later this year, though the company has not disclosed a timeline.
