WISCONSIN — According to Yelp’s list of top pizza spots, two Wisconsin pizzerias just might be the perfect pizza crustaceans.
A popular crowdsourced review website named two spots in Wisconsin on its list of the top 100 pizza spots in the US and Canada.
Coming in at No. 46 is Santino’s Little Italy in Milwaukee. It has over 280 reviews and a 4.5/5 rating on Yelp. Using Caputo 00 flour, grande mozzarella cheese and San Marzano tomatoes, Santino’s creates a traditional Neapolitan pizza.
From pisano made with pesto sauce and spicy Italian sausage to agrigento made with garlic sauce, there’s something for every pizza lover.
Madison-based Novanta also made the list, coming in at number 83. With over 320 reviews and a 4.5/5 rating, Novanta has been making authentic Neapolitan pizzas since 2013. The dough he rests for 48 hours before shaping and baking at 900 degrees.

Yelp looked at businesses in the pizza category and took into account total volume and review ratings to compile the list so far.
Number one on the list is a location in Pasadena, California known as Sapori di 786 Degrees. They create internationally inspired Neapolitan pizzas using ingredients that make their culture unique.
Chao next! Pizza & Pasta from Chelsea, Massachusetts was his second, and Zeneli Pizzeria & Cucina Napoletana from New Haven, Connecticut was his third.
Several other Midwestern states also made the list. Zazas Pizzeria and Milly’s Pizza in the Pan in Chicago, Il Rione and In Forno Pizza in Ohio, Mama’s Pizza in Minnesota and Patellie’s in Michigan. You can check the complete list on Yelp here.
