“Chapter 2 is a phrase widely used in the widow community to describe the following relationships. It’s an emotional shorthand, so the name is perfect for describing the website and community. ”

A 51-year-old man from Rotenstall, Greater Manchester, said the app was aimed at “widows and widowers of all ages”. She continued, “We classify widows as those who have lost a spouse or significant other. We welcome everyone regardless of marital status or sexuality. We understand that. We are building a community of people who understand and understand.”

“And at the end of the day, I fully believe that our deceased partner didn’t want us to be sad and lonely. We all deserve to find joy.”
Not only did Nikki know exactly what it felt like to be in search of love as a widow, she was also an expert on dating apps. She took her first online date in January 2002 and met her late husband a few months later.
“We were early adopters of technology,” Nicky said, explaining that they found each other through the popular website Datingdirect.com at the time.
The online world was different this time. As a widow, Nicki tried Tinder, Hinge, and Bumble. “I’ve had a lot of fun dates, some awful ones, too many d**k pics, and too many married men.
