This week, global decision makers will meet in Switzerland for the World Economic Forum meeting. The annual event for business and government leaders is expected to see a sizable turnout as it returns to its traditional winter timeframe after two years of COVID-19 disruption.
According to the official list accurate as of January 10, 2,658 attendees have registered for the event. Among them are heads of state, corporate royalty, actual royalty, media bosses and academics. Hundreds more attend on the sidelines, organizing, catering and attending corporate events along the promenade that runs through the center of Davos.
Let’s take a quick look at the breakdown of official attendees likely to be sighted on the Swiss slopes next week.
🌍 International participation in Davos
More than 100 countries and regions will participate in this year’s Davos conference. With 703 registered, Americans make up 27% of him among all participants. Overall, two-thirds of the attendees are from 10 countries.
💰 Riches in Davos

However, in the most representative countries, the majority of attendees are not civil servants.
💼 Davos Business Leader
At least 634 CEOs are expected to attend Davos this year, nearly one in four attendees. The big names are:

- 🏦 Jane Fraser (Citigroup)
- 💉 Stephane Bansel (Moderna)
- 💸 Lawrence Fink (BlackRock)
Some companies send large delegations to events. There are 10 organizations with 7 or more participants registered. One of the top ten is Stanford University.
📰 Davos media personnel
Hundreds of journalists from all over the world will be in Davos this week. In fact, two of his 10 companies with the most representation are media organizations CNBC and The Wall Street Journal.
