opinion: I was about to take a break. But every time I sneaked onto the internet, I found marketers talking about ChatGPT. And I was getting FOMO. So I emailed myself. This was my secret weapon during the Christmas holidays. Every time my head fell out of the Australian thriller I was reading (my current obsession with reading), I popped my scheduled email and headed home.
It was all fun and games until I opened my email on Monday morning and discovered 22 great ideas. We have more planned for Tuesday and Wednesday!

I’m new to AI. We have used paid AI platforms before and have taught some clients with major writing blocks to use it as well before. Easy access for everyone. All you need to pay for is (currently) an email address.
If you don’t know what it is or why you need it for your content marketing, let ChatGPT tell you.
Feel like a comedian and ask them to share their content and the benefits of content marketing. I’d like to note that I didn’t find the response particularly witty.This may give you a first insight into its limitations. Perhaps I’m missing something.
“ChatGPT is a type of artificial intelligence designed to generate human-like text. It’s so intelligent that it can help you create all kinds of content, from social media posts to blog posts to email newsletters.” It’s like having a perfect writing partner.
“One of the biggest benefits of ChatGPT in content marketing is that it saves a lot of time. No more, ChatGPT helps you generate fresh and engaging content in seconds.
“But ChatGPT is not only a time saver, it is also a creativity enhancer. It helps me come up with ideas and angles that I might not have thought of on my own. Imagine having a virtual brainstorming partner to come up with.
“If you’re in the content marketing game, ChatGPT is definitely worth checking out. It helps you create better content faster and with less effort. This is something all content marketers appreciate. In short, ChatGPT is like a content marketing superhero.
Please note that ChatGPT is immune to exclamation mark abuse. Perhaps you think they are funny?
As you can see, in terms of style, you can dictate how you write.
Here’s another answer (I asked you to describe yourself as if you were a computer scientist):
“ChatGPT is a variant of the Generative Pre-Training Transformer (GPT) language model developed by OpenAI that utilizes the Transformer architecture and is trained on large datasets of human-generated text. Human-like text can be generated by predicting the next word in a sequence based on the context of the word.
“One of the remarkable things about ChatGPT is that it allows you to talk to humans, which makes it suitable for tasks such as chatbot development and language translation. There are also numerous potential applications in the area of content generation, such as:
“Overall, ChatGPT represents a major advance in the field of natural language processing and has the potential to revolutionize the way we interact with and generate text-based content.”
You can choose to create content with the level of complexity you want. It’s a good idea to make sure the level is at least one you can understand too.
Based on the explanation of ChatGPT and its common sense, let’s talk about whether it can be used for content marketing. For me, the answer is a resounding yes, followed by a series of caveats.
First of all, from the notes.
If you don’t know what good content looks like, you may end up making more words that do more harm than good. No one wants more dross on the internet. Sure, you might get clicks to read a blog or watch a video, but if the content changes or isn’t engaging, you’re less likely to take the risk next time.
If you don’t know your brand’s tone and style, you can easily become too generic or lose the feeling that people follow you and trust you.
Google has already said it can spy on AI content and distinguish it from human writing. So trying to create content to drive traffic and increase sales can be futile. We want our copy to be written by people, for people.
As social media sites use more AI, these platforms may increasingly be able to tell the difference, too.
I used the ChatGPT extension to create LinkedIn comments. I felt it was unethical as a brand, but I liked the idea (I made it clear that it was a comment made by ChatGPT when I used it). And you may end up posting irrelevant content.
Inability to think strategically or out of the box. Limited by what you have already seen or read. I asked them to do some things they said they couldn’t do. One of my coaching her clients created and tested the recipe and found it to be inaccurate. In many cases, false facts or data that you are not confident in corroborating can be added.
Good copy often includes small snippets of the story to keep people engaged. AI cannot do that. Because it’s not you. Nor can you add those nuances. You can fake this a bit with a prompt, but it’s still required. Go in and add them so that the human brain is more likely to engage and remember them.
What good is it once all the important issues are settled?
It turned out pretty well.
The main advantage of using ChatGPT is that it saves you time, money and energy. We were able to script a huge amount of content ideas, customizable templated materials, and videos.I used it to summarize some of my thing You can use the abstract to rewrite the article for your website without worrying about duplication.
To use ChatGPT, simply enter your request and all the information you think it needs into the command bar. I wrote, “I will summarize the main points of this blog,” and copied and pasted a long sentence, and the result came back immediately.
You can then ask them to write a blog with that summary and edit it to make it your own. Its application and the time and energy saved is incredible.
We’ve also tried telling them what content style they want, such as “in the style of Rachel Klaver”, or asking for more information from the results they’ve already submitted.
I have even asked them to write poems and stories on certain topics. So far nothing has surpassed what I believe I can create and nothing I can share as my own.As AI improves and evolves, this may change over time. i think it has a personality.
When I asked them to write Facebook posts and Instagram posts for social media, I found it to be less than satisfactory, but they are good at:
Ask them to provide niche content ideas.
I told it my niche and then said, “Provide 20 subtopics I can talk about to help teach about this topic.”
It then returned 20 ideas that were all usable.
I then copy-pasted each idea at a time and asked them to “write a friendly and interesting video script about the ‘topic'” and I was really impressed with the quality of their responses.
I personally modify it and make it my own, or trade an idea or two for mine.
use for SEO
All of my blogs, newsletters, and columns are written by me and will continue to be, but I’m starting to use ChatGPT for SEO meta description drafts and Pinterest pins and YouTube descriptions. I make sure they are accurate, but it takes the pain out of my brain.
This allowed us to outsource this part of our marketing to others on our team and clearly explain how to modify the results to make them right.
Create an email template
Tested the ability to create templates for email sequences. I wrote a six-part email sequence outline and then asked them to write each part of the email. It was pretty good. Then take it, add your own story, remove some of the blasted exclamation marks, and test them out.

I used ChatGPT to write some blog outlines that I use for writing. I’ve found it helpful to be specific about who your target market is, what tone you want, and how many points you want to cover. You can then write the blog yourself or give it to a copywriter to create.
Generating hooks
I asked for 40 hooks on one topic. (Hooks help attract people. I wrote about them in a previous article thing digit). It generated them in an instant. From there, you can ask them to write the respective scripts for you.
I’ve used other AI platforms for Facebook ad copy and Google ad copy, but I’ve never been so impressed with the results I’m getting from ChatGPT. They are often so sales-friendly that exclamation marks appear all over the ad copy.
From the point of view of authenticity, any copy you make in your name should be made by you, not the AI. When I asked ChatGPT to create a checklist, the final point was “give ChatGPT credit if you don’t make a copy your own”.
I think people are very unlikely to do this. I’m sure the internet will continue to be flooded with content that was created at the moment it was named not writing it. and lacks what personal insight can give us.
This presents a huge opportunity for us as small business owners. The best way to stand out and stand out from the competition is to be a little more unique and different.
If everyone else is just copying and pasting AI-generated content, creating essentially yours that you can proudly endorse as your own ideas and wisdom, you can come out on top for both humans (and google).
