Madison, Wisconsin (WMTV) – Earlier this week, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation announced the launch of new intelligence tools to help small businesses.
SizeUpWI is a new data intelligence tool designed to help small businesses thrive and grow by making sound strategic business decisions.
Small businesses make up about 99% of the Wisconsin economy, according to WEDC.
“Small businesses are at the heart of the Wisconsin economy,” said WEDC Secretary and CEO Missy Hughes. “SizeUpWI provides access to the same data large companies use to keep small businesses competitive.”
SizeUpWI is available through multi-year licensing agreements through online providers that provide big data intelligence that provides insights on local competitors, consumers, advertising hotspots, and key suppliers.
Whether a business owner has an established business or is just starting out, WEDC says SizeUpWI can help:
- Help you find potential customers and get a clear picture of business opportunities
- Analysis of comparative performance by identifying and identifying industry competitors
- Find key suppliers nearby to optimize your business operations
- Identify geographic hotspots to streamline marketing efforts and effectively promote your business
- Map areas with the highest potential for business expansion
If you are interested in learning more or using SizeUpWI, you can access the tool at wedc.org/SizeUpWI.
