Full disclosure: Technical.ly was previously a production partner on “Between Two Founders.” This episode was filmed at his ETC Baltimore, which Technical.ly is partnering with at Baltimore Innovation Week. Both ETC Baltimore and Kapowza, the company whose Chief Marketing Officer Sean Sutherland hosted his series of interviews and wrote the accompanying text for this post, reviewed the final editorial version of this article prior to its publication.
In the ninth episode of Between Two Founders, host Sean Sutherland and co-host Leon Stanford are the founders of the extraordinary B-More Kitchen, in a video series featuring conversations with local startup founders in the Baltimore area. Talk to Eben Altmann.
The commercial/ghost kitchen space has supported various founders who have made their way into food in the area, including Hex ferments, Bottom’s Up Bagels, Well Crafted Kitchen, and Pie Time.
“I always wonder what the next step for emerging food brands is when it comes to evolution and expansion, but what happens between farmers markets and grocery shelves?” Sutherland said. “This is where B-More Kitchen (and its Philadelphia branch Alt Kitchen) comes in. Altman’s journey from sausage maker to entrepreneur takes a listen to be believed. Eben, you didn’t get a bad tattoo when you were too young!”
Check out the episode below to learn more about it and Altman’s journey.
Between Two Founders was lovingly shot on location at Digital Empath Studios at the ETC location in Baltimore. If you have any questions about video works or podcasts, please leave it to Leon, the president of the media production company!
If you’re a startup interested in being featured in a future episode, drop Sutherland a note and tell him what makes your startup unique.
