District Collector A. Mallikarjuna said the district administration will encourage aspiring entrepreneurs to establish industries within the district. This not only boosts the district’s financial progress, but also provides employment for local people. He was speaking here on Saturday at a district-level meeting of the Industrial Export Promotion Commission.
Mallikarjuna said that as of January 19, out of 152 applications received at a single port desk, 141 were approved on time and 4 were rejected. About 27 applications are pending. He instructed the GVMC and revenue authorities to grant all permits to his ESI hospital in Gajwaka. He said he would take steps from GVMC to provide drinking water for industries in Autonagar. He also said that a police outpost has been placed at Madulwada IT Park and APSRTC’s regional manager has instructed employees to place the bus facility. Stakeholders from Department of Industry, APIIC, AP Transco, RTC, Urban Planning, Fire Service, and several other departments were in attendance.
