Seoul, December 29 (Korea Bizwire) — Users of used-car trading apps are generally satisfied with the variety of cars on sale, but less satisfied with the buying experience, the consumer rights agency said Wednesday.
A survey of 1,340 consumers who purchased used cars on five major online platforms by the Korea Consumer Affairs Agency found that the highest level of satisfaction was service quality (3.64 points), followed by service. Product (3.61 points), service experience (3.19 points).
In terms of quality of service, consumers are most satisfied with efficient design and search functionality (3.80 points), efforts to listen to consumer feedback and provide recommendations (3.66 points), and false positives (3.66 points). or continued efforts to filter out misleading ads (3.61 points).
In terms of service offerings, consumers are most satisfied with the variety of vehicles offered (3.81 points), followed by vehicle specifications (3.66 points) and vehicle price (3.59 points).
Consumers were least satisfied with user ratings (3.51 points) on dealer ratings and purchase ratings.
A significant 17% (228 people) of consumers said they have had a bad experience using a used car trading app.
These issues included situations where the car did not match its performance rating (43.9%) and ads containing false information (36.4%).
