milwaukee – Milwaukee police are investigating multiple shootings that left two dead and six wounded on the north side of the city early Saturday morning through Sunday.
1st and Locust
The first shots were fired around 2:30 am on Saturday, July 16th. A 26-year-old Milwaukee man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
27th and Roosevelt
A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was seriously injured near Roosevelt and the 27th at about 10:20 a.m. Saturday. The shooting is still under investigation.

22 days and lights
A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was shot dead near 22nd Street and Lights shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday, police said. He was confirmed dead at the hospital. Another his 28-year-old Milwaukee man suffered non-fatal injuries and was taken to hospital in a stable condition. The situation is believed to be controversial.
26th and Auer
A 22-year-old Milwaukee woman was the unintentional target of several shots fired by a vehicle occupant around 10:20 p.m. Saturday. she suffered minor injuries.
41st and Capitol
A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was shot dead on 41st Street and near the Capitol shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
14th and Chambers
A 35-year-old Milwaukee woman turned up in the hospital with a gunshot wound in the first of three shootings within an hour, police said. The shooting occurred near 14th and her Chambers. She is expected to survive. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation.
31st and Cortland
A 43-year-old Milwaukee woman was shot at around 12:15 am on Sunday in Cortland on the 31st. She was taken to the hospital and saved her life. The circumstances leading up to the shooting resulted in a physical altercation.
77th and Mill
A 17-year-old Milwaukee man suffered non-fatal injuries near Number 77 and the Mill just before 12:30 a.m. Sunday. He was taken to hospital and survived. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation.
Police continue to search for suspects in these cases.
