Less than 24 hours after the seventh co-defendant in Young Thug RICO accepted a plea bargain, two other members declined the deal and are now on trial.
Tenquarius Mender aka “Nard” and Derontae Bebee aka “Be” denied a plea bargain in court today (December 29). Both denied a plea bargain that could have allowed Mender and Delonte to return home. By accepting the plea bargain, Mender had the following in mind.
- 15 years probation
- 1 year of community service
- Your probation ends upon successful completion of your first 10 years in Georgia with no violations.
The judge explained the uncertainty of the trial and the need to win all four counts to avoid a prison sentence. If convicted as the judge explained, he would have no choice but to give Mender the maximum sentence allowed under the Recidivism Act. If convicted after refusing a plea bargain and going to trial, Mender faces 50 years and Delonte faces life in prison.

Yesterday, Antonio Sledge became the seventh person to reach a plea bargain in the YSL RICO indictment against rapper Young Thug. Sledge joins others who accepted the plea bargain, including Antonio “Obama” Sumlin, Gunna, Walter Murphy, Slimelife Shawty, Lil Duke, and Young Thug’s brother Unfoonk.
