Topeka, Kansas (WIBW) – The company known for giving back savings to Topeka customers will soon open a new store in Lawrence.
Officials at Topeka-based ReHome Stores said they will open a new location in Lawrence on January 25 at 10am. The new location is at the Malls Shopping Center at 711 W. 23rd St. Store hours are Wednesday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm.
The new store will have a variety of discounted furniture, homewares, toys, cosmetics, kitchen items and more, according to staff. Employees at the new location are currently slow to hire, plus he expects 5-8 jobs to be added to the community.
Zach Haney, owner of ReHome Stores, said: “We are proud of our team and their commitment to creating the ultimate customer experience, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve the people of Lawrence.”
ReHome’s mission, he said, is to create the ultimate customer experience around them while saving money on what they love. Bargain finder friends who shop at the store regularly say they enjoy finding free coffee and freshly baked coffee near the cash register.
The company is a low-price retailer that buys excess inventory from the country’s largest retailers and passes the savings on to customers, people familiar with the matter said. With less overhead, ReHome can offer bigger deals at lower prices, they said.
