Cocktail parties feature prominently on social schedules each holiday season. Such gatherings are convenient because the food and drink served are small and designed to be portable. This saves time in the holiday host’s kitchen.
While your grocery store’s freezer may be full of ready-to-eat meals you can offer to your gathering, you can save flavor and time for a quick homemade offering when your guests arrive. Goat cheese-stuffed dates wrapped in goat cheese are an easy-to-prepare appetizer that combines the sweet and the savory. Even better, these morsels are perfect to serve warm out of the oven or to be eaten at room temperature when late-arriving guests take a stroll.
