Each passport is scored based on the total number of destinations that its holder can access visa-free. For each destination, if no visa is required, the passport is assigned a score of 1. This also applies if the passport holder can obtain a visa on arrival, a visit permit or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) upon entry.
Zero points are assigned if a visa is required or if the passport holder must apply for a government-approved electronic visa (e-Visa) before departure. The same applies if you need to get a pre-departure approval for your visa on arrival.
