TI is undoubtedly the King of the South and a hip-hop legend. If you ask who he duo, his answer would be his four giants of our genre: JAY-Z, 2Pac, Diddy and Snoop Dogg.
While appearing on Shannon Sharp’s Club Shay Shay podcast, TI revealed that he sees his legend in his work.
“I consider myself a hybrid like Jay, Puck, Puff and Snoop. You know what I mean?” TI said. “I kind of dive in and take a page out of a legendary book. I’m lucky enough and blessed to have these relationships that allow me to sit back and immerse myself in the game.”
TI will give more love to people like E-40, Master P, and Jay Prince in conversation.
In the same conversation, T.I. recalled being in 2007 alongside Denzel Washington in the movie classic. American gangster.
T.I. played the nephew of Washington’s character, Frank Lucas.
TI recalls a moment when Washington coached him through the scene and helped him fight the tension.
“I go back and forth while we’re rehearsing,” TI said. “And he said, ‘What’s wrong, n-gga, are you nervous?’ I was like, ‘Man, I’m just trying not to screw it up.'”
“He said, ‘Look, listen. They could have had someone here do what you’re doing now. I could call someone here to do what I’m doing.

To this day, TI is still in the acting bag. Her T.I., which hits theaters this weekend, stars alongside Joseph Sikora of Power in her horror film Psycho. fear.
