Milwaukee mayor, other officials speak out about violence in city streets late Friday
milwaukee – The Milwaukee Police Department responded to 10 shootings within 12 hours on Friday, May 13.
Three people were killed and 25 injured. This includes his 17 shootings and injuries that occurred near Water and Juneau.
91st and Marion
Around 12:30 p.m., police said a 24-year-old Milwaukee man was shot and taken to a hospital for treatment.
22nd and Keef
Gunshots rang out about 45 minutes after the shootings near 91st Street and Marion. His 23-year-old man, who lives in Milwaukee, was taken to the hospital, police said. The Milwaukee County coroner said he later died from his injuries.

Seventh and Capitol
A 42-year-old Milwaukee man was shot and taken to hospital around 1:30 p.m.
25th and Hadley
Shortly after 4pm, a 17-year-old Milwaukee boy was shot. The teen was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police continue to search for the missing suspect.
Wel R. Phillips and Vienna
Half an hour later, police said a 30-year-old Milwaukee man had been shot and taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
22nd and Keef
Police were recalled to the 22nd Street and Keef area around 6:40 pm and a second shooting took place. A 33-year-old Milwaukee man died at the scene.

A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was shot at around 7:10 p.m. and taken to hospital.

A 29-year-old man, a 26-year-old man, and a 16-year-old girl were shot dead outside the Deer District at approximately 9:15 p.m. shortly after the Bucks game. A 19-year-old man has been arrested.

A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was injured in a shooting around 10:30 p.m. He is expected to survive.

Just 40 minutes later, another 17 people were shot dead in another incident in the same area. He had 10 arrests with police looking for additional suspects.
Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson said at a news conference Saturday afternoon, “What happened in the area last night is unacceptable.
17 injured in Milwaukee Water Street shooting
Seventeen people were injured and 10 arrested in a shooting near Water and Juneau in Milwaukee’s Water Street bar district shortly after 11 p.m. Friday.
Assistant Chief of Police Nicole Waldner said he was “running firearms around with total disregard for life”. “A shootout erupted between two groups of people. What makes people think you can have a shootout on a public road?”

The cause of each shooting is not yet known, and police are looking for an unknown suspect.
