Other solutions I’ve tried before (actually by the same developer) have more obvious problems like having to redo all custom theme icons when changing wallpaper or light and dark modes . Besides, pinned shortcuts add another creative layer to your home screen, giving you access to more apps at once without resorting to folders or third-party launchers.
