The Center by Lendistry Launches Accelerator to Prepare Diverse Southern California Entrepreneurs to Win Multi-Million Dollar Public Contracts

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 17, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Center by Lendistry, a technology assistance organization designed to help women and diverse-owned Southern California small businesses gain knowledge Announcing the launch of a new Contractor Accelerator program. Skills to pursue millions of public contracts. A four-part virtual series provides resources and hands-on learning to better understand the public contract research, pitching, and bidding process. Participants will also receive guidance on post-award preparation and project management. The application is open to the public and businesses can apply until her February 17th.

Public contracts are a powerful economic development strategy, but diverse small business owners only get a fraction of these awarded contracts. The Contractors Accelerator program helps diverse entrepreneurs overcome barriers and prepare to compete for these lucrative opportunities. Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately impacted various small businesses, highlighting the critical need to identify new revenue streams.

Partnering with CMG Alliance, the center’s technical assistance provider, this unique cohort experience offers world-class training and personalized support to help entrepreneurs navigate the bidding process with confidence. The first cohort, starting in March, is expected to serve up to 25 BIPOC, women, veteran, and LGBTQ-owned small businesses.
