Teenage event for entrepreneurs coming to Suffolk

Suffolk Parks and Recreation will host the League of Young Entrepreneurs for a six-week program from January 28th to February 28th.
This event is open to individuals ages 13-17 and is held every Tuesday from 5:30-6:30 pm at East Suffolk Recreation Centre, 138 S. 6th St.
This unique, educational program focuses on the dynamics of business planning, marketing strategies, and the development of financial literacy. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from guest speakers and local entrepreneurs the tools and methods for creating and owning a successful business. The program also includes field trips, t-shirts and refreshments.
Registration is required and an active You and Teens membership is free. Registration is open and can be done online through CivicRec or in person at the East Suffolk Recreation Centre.
