Applications for the 2023 Swedish Institute She Entrepreneurship Program are now open. Are you an entrepreneur with a vision to impact society through your business? She Entrepreneurs is a leadership program for aspiring female entrepreneurs building sustainable and scalable businesses that contribute to fostering social and/or environmental change in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkiye. Over the past few years the program has been running, many entrepreneurs have been supported and successfully expanded and expanded their influence.
She Entrepreneurs is hands-on, hands-on leadership training based on real-world business experience, collaborative learning, and participant-centered design. The program provides tangible tools, insights and connections for participants who want to grow their business and grow as entrepreneurs and leaders.
The program will run for 6 months. In addition to regular workshops and online individual mentor support, he will spend an intensive week of on-site learning in Stockholm in September. Expenses to be borne and arranged by the Swedish Institute include:
- Flight to and from Stockholm.
- Accommodation and most meals in Stockholm during the program’s onsite sessions in Sweden.
- Insurance for the duration of the program for onsite sessions in Stockholm, Sweden.
- All online and onsite training materials.
Eligibility
If you are a female entrepreneur between the ages of 25 and 45 (born between 1977 and 1998) and your business:
- It’s already operational and ready to scale.
- We may contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals by developing economically sustainable business models and driving social and/or environmental change.
- Based in Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia or Turkey.
Evaluation criteria
The Swedish Institute appoints a selection committee composed of senior entrepreneurs and experts in the field. Each application will be evaluated by her two different members of the selection committee.
Each application will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
- business potential
- Contribution to Sustainable Development Goals
- Applicant’s potential as an entrepreneur

Only applicants who submit a complete application will be considered for the program.
Here are the steps required to submit your application:
- Register your profile in the application portal
- Select the program you would like to apply for (She Entrepreneurs available January 17th – February 14th, 2023).
- Please answer all the questions in the various sections of the application portal.
- Upload your resume under the documents section. After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email.
