New Delhi – Britannia Marigold’s My Startup campaign has run for three successful seasons, providing funding and skills development to Indian housewives to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys.
Season 3 of the campaign offered services to help housewives leverage the internet to grow their businesses. According to Momspresso’s Indian Housewives Entrepreneurship Report 2021, 77% of housewives who want to launch their own venture see technology as a key enabler on this journey.
One of the highlights of Season 4 is that all participants will have access to Google’s WomenWill program. This is a business literacy initiative with a “how-to” curriculum to turn interests into businesses, manage businesses, and accelerate them for growth. All participants who complete the learning journey will be awarded a certificate.
Commenting on the launch of the Britannia Marigold My Startup Contest 4.0, Amit Doshi, Chief Marketing Officer, Britannia Industries Limited said:
