Give me back Pelosi
Once again, the Republican Party has proven incapable of leading and governing. Since when do leaders start begging followers to make them leaders? McCarthy and the rest of the House Republicans are so embarrassed. Bring back Pelosi.
liberal agenda
I don’t think I promoted the liberal, left-wing agenda of this paper more than the January 6th front page story. A year-old Illinois representative was sworn in as the youngest congressman to ever serve in Springfield. The small photo I had was of a conservative Christian Republican candidate. Oh, I think it’s because Democrats are minority Muslim women. The woman is a minority and now she is seen as “In Thing”. Having the photos side by side and the same size will be more “fair”. But I’m guessing the News Sun/Chicago Tribune’s left-wing, liberal agenda needs to be promoted as much as possible.

rotting swamp creature
It is commendable that 10% of House Speakers initially opposed Kevin McCarthy. Unfortunately, 15 later succumbed to pressure from McCarthy to do nothing. McCarthy is like Paul Ryan, a backboneless, decaying swamp creature he is one. If the House can’t start governing, that could be a good thing. Because every bill they pass is an abomination and a terrible thing for the country.
irresponsible gun owner
It breaks my heart to think of the 9-year-old boy from Chicago who recently shot himself. But I resent adults hiding weapons so that irresponsible gun owners aren’t prosecuted and can’t take dangerous weapons off the streets.
resign and go home
That GOP thing—what a garbage heap. What a bunch of idiots. What if everyone just quits and goes home?
