Kenyan heavyweight hip-hop star Halligraph Jones played his maiden show in the West African country of Sierra Leone over the weekend, calling it a big score for his image as far as hip-hop music is concerned.
Before taking the stage, Calligraph was hosted by one of the major media stations, AYV Tv. He claimed that his graph skyrocketed thanks to events in Sierra Leone and Salone’s hip-hop bromance with his star Cao de Nero.
“Let me tell you this, it’s not taken for granted. I really know my standing in the hip hop scene has improved the moment I started this exchange with Kao. It’s all courtesy of everyone here.” at the Salone,” he said in part.

Calligraph added that the jokes witnessed on social media were always for business purposes, not personal.In 2021, he won the African Entertainment Awards-America’s Best Hip-Hop, beating Halligraph, Nasty C and Sarcody. Khaligraph shared a short clip on his Instagram, performing a rap he knows best and thanking the Sierra Leone community.
