Suge Knight, whom Kenner has represented for years, recently spoke EXCLUSIVELY rolling stoneDuring a call at the jail, Knight was asked to give his thoughts on Tory Lanez’s hiring of a former lawyer.
“If they let me use David Kenner, I wouldn’t have had this conversation with you from prison,” Suge Knight said in a phone call. “If he’s guilty, that’s one thing. But if he doesn’t have the right people to act impartially on his behalf, it’s another.”
Knight also claimed to have an affair with Megan Thee Stallion, offering an interesting analogy. Knight is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence for the fatal incident that took the life of local businessman Terry Carter at Tam’s Burgers in Compton, California. Knight described what prison life feels like for Lanez awaiting trial.
“Now Tory is probably suffering [the] Worst days of my life because of county jail [is] It’s horribly dirty,” he said. “Food is garbage, cells are frozen, dirty and nasty. At night, when you’re sitting in bed, mice may run across your chest, bite you, and cockroaches may be all over your bed.” .”
Lanez’s sentencing was postponed from January 27 to as early as February 28, giving Kenner and others in the defense team time to review the trial record and file a new trial motion.
