Classic “All Comes Back”
Klassik gives us a taste of his next new album. With his trademark and inventive fusion of hip-hop, soul, R&B and jazz, Klassik understands that if you’re not authentic to yourself and those around you, you’ll eventually become annoyed. I am emphasizing. He’s learned a lot from dealing with dishonest people in the past, finding the truth over time, and now discerning what’s real and what’s fake.Creative direction by Rakim Wil and Samer Ghani The visuals reflect Klassik looking out at the beach and bonfire.look forward to his album working class –Ben Slowey
Jesus Villa – Snow falls on the front porch rockers
Singer/songwriter Jesus Villa is the latest artist to capture the spirit of Christmas, teaming up with Paula Tracy, Jim Richards and Jim Schultz for a holiday project. Snow falls on the front porch rockers is 10 original Christmas-themed songs featuring a distinctly joyful and carefree sound. The whole record feels like a boisterous Christmas his party with an artist tired of traditional carols. As a collective, the band works well here, with Treacy taking the lead for much of the album, but everyone joins in on the fun. If you’re looking for an album to kick-start the holiday season, look no further. (Allen Harras)
bright eyes and blind – aftermath
Indie rockers Bright Eyed & Blind have released their sophomore record. His 12 tracks of fire-breathing rock and roll, with explosive vocals, daring hooks, pounding solos and powerful riffs that traverse different moods. The band has shown it has guts as it can incorporate elements of hard rock, pop rock and power pop into engaging and diverse arrangements to light up an arena. Bright-Eyed & Blind with rock smorgasbord aftermath. (Ben Throwie)
Bluesboy “Juno”
Indie pop act Bruiseboy has released the video for his debut single, ‘Juno’. Things begin with the two band his members hanging out, smoking and talking, before confronting Bruise’s partner, who approaches Bruise and begins singing. The scene finds Bruce trying to win his partner back, getting slapped by her at one point in the process, a fun yet accurate piece directed by Brandon Stearns and her Finn O’Connell. (Ben Throwie)
Sharod Thrones “Bout Two Break”
The Sharrod Sloans are back. He recently had to tell time for his single “Bout 2 Break.” At less than two minutes on his track, Thrones embraces an effortless flow full of big flexes. Whether it’s money, a big car or taking your girl, Sharod doesn’t break a sweat while bringing endless lyrics to the record. There’s no denying that the Sharod Thrones have the best current in Milwaukee hip-hop history. This feels like a track meant to remind the scene of what he’s been doing for a while, and could be a glimpse into what’s to come.(Allen Harras)
