Pine Belt, Mississippi (WDAM) – After more than a year of struggle, clinics across Magnolia are beginning to open as the Mississippi Department of Health has completed the initial testing.
Dispensaries have received their first product, which includes Green Therapy with six strains introduced.
Carter Lack, owner of Green Therapy, said: “It was a good day and I hope it continues.”
According to Lack, sales are steadily increasing day by day.
Customers have applied, but responses seem to be divided due to the limited selection.
“People are very happy to be able to get something, but there’s also a pretty high percentage of people looking for edibles, concentrates, etc.,” Luck said. I think in six weeks we’ll have something like that, but it’s hard to say for sure.”
While medical marijuana has taken hold, buyers and sellers still have much to learn. The deficit will be felt over time, and it will get a little easier each day.
“Everything is relatively new to us all, so we are learning from each other,” says Lack. “There will be trial and error. I hope we help people in a good way and they come back and deliver results.”
MSDH must complete oil and food testing before hitting shelves for purchase.
