Providence, Rhode Island – 2 years in a row, Providence College men’s basketball and 12 sports are teaming up. PC Hoops with Cooley CoachThis season’s show will premiere on Sunday, January 29thth.
The 30-minute show will air every Sunday night at 10:30 p.m. on FOX Providence for eight weeks this season. Hosted by 12 Sports Director Molly Hirsch-Gordon, each week Fryer will feature an exclusive interview with his head coach. Ed Cooleyand see behind the scenes of his program.
According to a recent poll, monks currently rank between 23rd and 21st. The team has gone 4-0 in home games in the Big East this season, with wins over Marquette, UConn, St. John’s and DePaul. So far, the team is 11-0 at home this season overall, with Amica Mutual going 32-1 in his last 33 games in his pavilion.
Providence College Athletic Director Steve Napolillo said: “12 Sports is a leader in our community. They continue to provide fans with quality coverage of his Friar basketball and in-depth analysis of the team.”
Coach Cooley has led the Friars to six NCAA tournaments, more than any other Providence College coach. Cooley won the 2022 BIG EAST Coach of the Year and Naismith Coach of the Year awards, making him the first Friar Coach to earn both honors.
