Sam Smith does not use dating apps.
In an interview with ET Canada, the non-binary, “they/them” British star said he’s taken dating sites by storm in the past, but hasn’t had much luck.
The problem appears to stem from some dating platforms not trusting Sam Smith to be who they claim to be.
“I never did Grindr. I did Tinder once. I think I got kicked out of Tinder. I got kicked out of Hinge because they thought it wasn’t me,” Sam explained. increase. “Well, I didn’t check my profile and I should have.”

Sam is currently promoting his fourth studio album, Gloria, due out January 27th.
