CADOT, Wisconsin — The nation’s largest three-day rock music and camp event announced its summer line-up on Friday.
Rock Fest has announced Slipknot, Pantera and Godsmack as headliners for 2023. Ice Cube, Papa Roach and Falling in Reverse will also see him perform with over 75 bands during the festival.
Pantera is one of many national groups to hit the rock fest stage for the first time. The band will perform their first American tour in 21 years on July 13th.
This year’s festival takes place July 13-15 in Cadot, Wisconsin.
Rock Fest 2022 had record attendance figures in the event’s nearly 30-year history, and festival administrators said they expected another large turnout. Last year’s attendance was also generally the largest for its parent company, the Chippewa Valley Music Festival, surpassing the all-time attendance of its sister festival, Country Fest.
“Every year, we are serious about making it better than the last,” said festival promoter Wade Asher. For those of us who have been doing this for 29 years, this is very difficult. As always, we will improve the fan experience in many ways, including both new and improved infrastructure for 2023. I’m working on it in the offseason for the sake of it, and I can’t wait to do it again.”
On July 12th, there will be a 3-day ticketholder-exclusive bonus bash featuring Soul Asylum, Alien Ant Farm, Gemini Syndrome, and more.
