Boise, Idaho – Senator Jim Risch, member and former chairman of the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee, has named Palouse Animal Wellness and Surgery Center (PAWS) the Idaho Small Business of the Month for January 2023. Dr. Don Kubasch founded PAWS in 1995 and the business was later acquired by Dr. Kathy Miller. A graduate of the Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Miller and her husband Jim have made educational opportunities an important part of their practice and have maintained accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association for over a decade.
Millers prides itself on high standards in education, service, improvement, and a love of community. A graduate of Moscow High School and the University of Idaho, Kathy and Jim raised her four children in the Moscow community.
