Property tech company PropertyGuru Group has appointed Disha Goenka Das as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). As her CMO, Das (pictured) will oversee the group’s brand strategy, corporate communications function and environmental, social and governance (ESG) mission. Das is part of PropertyGuru’s Group Leadership Tam and as CEO and Managing Director he will report to Hari V. Krishnan.
Das is an experienced executive who has worked extensively in over 30 markets across Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Americas, leading strategic marketing and communications teams and cross-functional work streams for technology companies around the world. . Most recently, Das served as Twitter’s senior global marketing director, leading global strategy and building Twitter’s business brand globally. Previously, he worked at Google for 10 years, where in his last role he was responsible for commercializing advertising products in the Asia-Pacific region. Das’ appointment follows the group’s rebranding announcement – “where every step of your journey is guided by a Guru”.
With over 17 years of deep brand experience and marketing expertise, Das has helped accelerate the Group’s growth trajectory in five markets – Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia, creating a trusted platform for real estate in Southeast Asia. To do. Das will also build on his ESG mandate for the Group and focus on creating long-term financial and social value for stakeholders by integrating material ESG issues into corporate strategy. .

Former CMO and MD of PropertyGuru Group, fintech Bjorn Sprengers left the company after nine years and returned to the Netherlands late last year. According to the company, he served as CMO until September this year and MD for fintech until this month. As CMO, Sprengers built a team of marketing gurus and was responsible for the company’s brand, performance, marketing, infrastructure and operations, and corporate communications, Brand said. In his role as MD, Fintech, Sprengers led the group’s real estate financing solutions, including the launch of his PropertyGuru Finance in 2020.
Sprengers has grown its team from scratch and as of September 2022, PropertyGuru Finance has brokered more than S$3 billion in loans with high customer satisfaction, said a spokesperson.
