Pakistan and UAE Agree to Strengthen Strategic Partnership, Cooperation in Diverse Sectors
ABI DHABI – Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif on Friday invited entrepreneurs from the UAE’s Abu Dhabi province to invest in several sectors of Pakistan.
His offer was made at a meeting with a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, led by Abdullah Mohamed Al-Mazroui, president of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce.
During the meeting, the prime minister stressed the need to strengthen cooperation between the chambers of commerce of the two countries and said he wanted to urge the Pakistan Chamber of Commerce to reach out to the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce to make new connections.
He encouraged members of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce to visit Pakistan and experience the great opportunity to grow their business.

Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to intensify consultations and coordination to strengthen their strategic partnership, with the aim of developing concrete and meaningful bilateral cooperation in key areas.
During Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif’s exchange with the UAE leadership during his official visit to the Emirates at the invitation of President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on 12-13 January , bilateral relations were discussed. This was the prime minister’s third visit since taking office, according to a joint statement released on Friday.
During the dialogue, the two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation, especially in the field of information and communication technology, and work together to bridge the digital divide.
The Prime Minister held bilateral talks with the UAE President and was awarded the honor guard at the Presidential Palace.

During the “most warm and heartfelt” meeting, the two leaders discussed in detail concrete measures to strengthen bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional political and security issues.
They also discussed specific initiatives to strengthen cooperation in the political, defense, economic, commercial and cultural fields, develop joint ventures, and strengthen cooperation in the human resource field.
The Prime Minister thanked Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the UAE’s generous assistance during the recent floods in Pakistan, especially through an air bridge set up for this purpose. .
