Notable
- Return of Joey Bosa: The Chargers will rejuvenate edge rusher Joey Bosa from the injured reserve and appear in his first game since Sept. 25. His first game back. The Chargers’ pass rushing has seen season-best growth over the last three games, and he has 13 his sacks in that span. When Bosa gets into the mix, he only causes more confusion to their opposition.
- Can the Chargers defense stay hot?: After Week 14, the Chargers’ defense allowed only 11 points per game. The defense made the most complete stretch of football, coming up with decisive stops and timely takeaways. We may go one step further.
- Protecting Justin Herbert: Justin Herbert’s pass protection is pretty worrisome. He has been sacked 25 times in his last six games, the most in the NFL during that period. In his first 10 weeks of the season, Herbert was sacked just his 12 times. The Rams will miss Aaron Donald, but Leonard Floyd is still looking to slow down the player entering Week 17 with eight sacks.
