Former global chief marketing officer of The Coca-Cola Company, Peter Seely, who worked for Columbia Pictures for six years, died December 15 in Palm Springs, California from complications following a fall. he was 82 years old.

Sealy remained with the company until 1993, when he retired to pursue a different career path as a global speaker, consultant and expert witness. He has also advised other companies such as Sony Corporation and United Parcel Service.
At the same time, Seeley shared his knowledge in the university environment as a professor at Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley. He also went on to teach at the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University, where he previously earned a PhD in Information Technology.
Outside the classroom, Seeley’s philanthropic efforts include giving to Eisenhower Hospital in Palm Springs and an international program of negotiations at Harvard’s McLean Hospital. He also awarded his Peter S. Seeley Professorship in Marketing at the University of Florida, where he earned his bachelor’s degree.
