Patrick Beverly unleashed one of the best Giannis Antetokounmpo impressions you’ve ever witnessed in his latest episode. Pat Bebb Podcast and Rone.
Beverly, in his first year with the Lakers, opened up about the Timberwolves hosting the Bucks in Minneapolis last season. I was upset to know
“I’m furious now. Why isn’t he playing?” Beverley said.
“I’m going to do a normal shootaround before the game and go see his brother. I’m like, ‘What’s going on? Is your brother dodging the smoke?'”
He didn’t say which of the Antetokounmpo brothers playing for the Bucks he was talking to, Thanasis or Alex, but they laughed about it, and Beverley attended training and left the court.
“I’m out. Giannis is out of the locker room onto the court,” Beverly explained.
“Greece, what’s wrong G?”

“Never stoop, Pat. Never, never stoop,” Giannis said.
“I told you, why don’t you play the motherfucker, Greek?” Beverly recalled saying.
“I was eating pasta in the back,” Giannis was quoted as saying. “But don’t smoke, Pat. Never, never. I like you, Pat. Do you want to win a championship? I like you. You’re in Milkwaukee.” Come on, Pat, I like you.”
“I’m like ‘f*** that,'” Beverly replied. “You came to Minnesota.”
“No, no, no, no. Don’t come here, Pat,” said Giannis. “But hey, I like you.”
“Then he walked away,” concludes Beverly.
