TMZ hip hop I spoke with Pap on Tuesday morning and he was very excited about the opportunity to keep independent artists away from non profitable record deals.

He explains that unlike other distributors, Tunecore allows you to retain ownership of your masters and receive 100% of the proceeds from your music. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal, especially if you’re still trying to make a name for yourself.
Pap says his own experience in the music industry has made him a Tunecore champion. DJ Kay Sleighbut he admits that it was his indie career that attracted the most attention in his career.
In 2021, Pup has released 12 albums. Each album is named after a month of the year. lil wayne, Jim Jones, game and his wife, Remy Ma …and he released them all through Tunecore, earning all the rewards himself.
Papp says he understands artists’ plight better than anyone else and won’t smack them down with a one-sided record deal.
He and Tunecore are hijacking billboards around Times Square and New Jersey to talk…and he wants every aspiring and established artist to email him.
