SC/ST entrepreneurs: The Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) established National SC-ST Hubs (NSSH) conclaves in Sahid, Smruti Bhavan, Baripada, Mayurbhanj and Odisha to promote entrepreneurial culture and spread awareness of the NSSH scheme and other schemes of the ministry. organized. Training institutes such as IIT Kharagpur, Central Tool Room and Training Centre, Bhubaneswar and Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology also participated in the program by exhibiting booths and demonstrating their technologies and various skill development programs. The program also had a facilitation desk for his UDYAM registration to facilitate registration of his SC/ST MSE participants on the spot.
The event was also attended by senior government officials from the Ministry of MSME and Orissa. For inclusive growth, various initiatives under the NSSH scheme to promote an entrepreneurial culture among the SC-ST community and to the public procurement process to reach the 4% mandate according to the public procurement policy.
