For example, one day in December, I went to the post office to drop off my package, but it wasn’t open yet. The postal service is a blessing all year round, especially during the holidays. It brings gifts from our loved ones and delivers the gifts we sent. We can’t forget Melinda, the lovely postman. Melinda showed us the parcel and beautiful smile on her doorstep. As luck would have it for her, she had a package that needed to be shipped at her doorstep, so she asked her if she would pick it up. She laughed and said, of course, that’s what she does. But she made my life so much easier that day. Because I was late for an appointment and her kindness saved me from having to go to the post office.Another little miracle.
Like Ricardo and Angel, there are millions of miracle workers in the world who care, clean and maintain the public parks and restrooms of our beaches and bays.
Misbehaving people leave trash for all of us, but it’s Ricardo and Angel who clean it up. Because that’s their job. And they do it with grace and a smile, ensuring that no one else has to encounter the same terrible mess as they did. It’s a miracle that you exist.
Some people think I’m “Polyanna” because I see mundane things like delivering packages and cleaning parks as miracles.
Not to worry. Even pessimistic, I can handle criticism. One of the reasons I have magnets on my fridge is because it says, “A friend told me I was paranoid and almost fell off a unicorn.”
But just think about it and imagine what our lives would be like without people like Benny, Melinda, Ricardo and Angel. Our world is going to be a very different place, and it won’t turn for the better.
What is important to me is that hundreds of millions of people do things every day that they take for granted or that they do without warning just because they are taken for granted. is.
Just the other day my husband came home with peppermint stick ice cream after hunting around for me. It’s not uncommon for him to surprise me, but that was another miraculous moment.
