milwaukee – Milwaukee police responded to at least three shootings on Friday, June 10.
One person died and two were injured. A suspect was arrested in connection with his one of the three cases.
41st and Lloyd
At approximately 1:20 am, a 21-year-old Milwaukee man was shot. Police said the man died at the scene.
45th and Locust
A 33-year-old Milwaukee woman was shot around 3:30 a.m. and taken to hospital. She is expected to survive.

Police said a 36-year-old Milwaukee man was taken into custody. The case has been reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office and an investigation is ongoing.
Ninth and Walker
In Walkers Point, police said a 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was shot around 11:35 a.m. and seriously injured. She went to the hospital and her condition is stable.
The shooting was the result of an altercation, and police continue to search for known suspects.
violent 24 hours
Friday’s shootings continued for 24 hours from Thursday, 10 June.
Police said a shooting occurred in the streets near 44th and Lisbon around 5:30 pm Thursday. The victim, a 21-year-old woman from Milwaukee, went to the hospital for treatment. The suspected shooter is still wanted.
Late Thursday, an 18-year-old Milwaukee man was shot dead in Burleigh near No. 40 shortly before 8pm.
