Tom Brady led his team to a comeback win, much to the chagrin of some NFL bettors.
Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers found a 14-point lead over the Carolina Panthers midway through the second quarter.
What was your final score? Buccaneers 30, Panthers 24.
In other words, Brady’s Bucks returned the favor to Brady’s backers by outscoring the Panthers 30-10 in the final 33 minutes, and once again shattered the souls of those betting on TB12.

Tom Brady, Buccaneers win NFC South
Tom Brady made it through the day scoring four touchdowns in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 30-24 win over the Carolina Panthers.
Brady does it again
Appeared 2 touchdowns late Brady decided to encourage his teammates to play better.
It obviously worked out as the Buccaneers won 30-24 to clinch the NFC South Division title.
Carolina led 21-10 early in the fourth quarter. Brady and the Bucks (especially receiver Mike Evans) responded with his 11:51 span in the fourth quarter outscoring the Panthers 20-0. Deep in his territory on his first play from scrimmage.
After two plays, Brady scored on a 1-yard sneak to make it 30-21.
Brady’s recent heroics are lamented by Panthers bettors who scored 3.5 points, Moneyline players (+160 on FOX bets, betting $10 for a total of $26), Over/Under speculators (40.5 total point). 20 point explosion of the bay.
Brady threw for 432 yards and three touchdowns, all to Evans, and posted a passer rating of 127.3.
Coo is cool again
Bettors who are fans of Atlanta kicker Younghoe Koo once again cashed in when the Falcons beat Arizona 20-19 on Sunday.
The Cardinals took a 19–17 lead on Matt Prater’s 57-yard field goal with 4:57 left.
The Falcons, behind rookie QB Desmond Ryder, took over at 25. His 22-yard run by Cordarrelle Patterson and his 14-yard pass from Ridder to Mycole his Pruitt helped Atlanta move the ball down the field.
The Cardinals scored three timeouts on the drive and could only watch helplessly as the seconds ticked by and Atlanta continued to push the football down the field.
The Falcons called a timeout with two seconds remaining before Coo kicked a 21-yard field goal on the final play.
This was music to the ears of Falcons’ Moneyline bettors (-303 on FOX Bet, betting $10 for a total of $13.30).
Conversely, it was a pain for the over/under (O/U) over bettors, as they totaled 40.5 points. Arizona missed a 43-yard field goal attempt late in the third quarter.
Coo benefited bettors in Week 11 when a late field goal gave the Falcons a 27-24 victory over Chicago on 20 November.
Falcons beat Cardinals 20-19 on late 72-yard drive
Yonghue Koo’s 21-yard field goal beat the Arizona Cardinals 20-19.
Missed XP
The New England Patriots kept their playoff hopes alive with a 23-21 victory over the trailing Miami Dolphins.
New England took a 16–14 lead late in the third quarter on Kyle Duggar’s 39-yard interception return. But Patriots kicker Nick Faulk’s attempt to double and slam an upright hurt the 3-pointer bettors.
As they say, every point counts.
Hopefully the covered bettors didn’t try to celebrate like Miami star Tyreek Hill.
Score!
Kudos to this bettor for betting $25 on the Giants, who beat the Colts 38-10.
$25 at +20000 turned into a cool $5,025!
The bettors had to sweat the last 12 minutes scoreless. New York’s final drive made it to the Colts’ 30 with two minutes remaining, but the Giants passed a field goal attempt and headed the ball down.
first half blues
The Dallas Cowboys (-6.5 points in the first half) appeared to be in control Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans, with 10 in the second quarter as Tennessee’s first two drives failed to cross the 29-yard line. -0 read. The Titans lost a fumble, making it a three-and-out.
Then two interceptions thrown by Dallas’ Dak Prescott (both by Kevin Byard) ruined half of these bettors.
A 33-yard completion from third-string QB Joshua Dobbs to running back Julius Chestnut led to a field goal for the Titans with 1:03 left in halftime to make it 10–3.
Make some safe plays, go to the locker room, and Dallas bettors cash their tickets, but the Cowboys rarely do the easy stuff.
With less than 30 seconds remaining from the Tennessee 39, Prescott threw an interception to Byyard, who returned it 28 yards to the Dallas 41.
However, the remaining time is only 12 seconds. What could happen?
Dallas gave up a 30-yard catch-and-run to Tralon Burks to the Cowboys’ 11-yard line with two seconds remaining. Time out, Titans.
Randy Bullock kicked a 29-yard field goal as time expired. Cowboys 10, Titans 6.
That’s 6 points in just over a minute for the Titans, who were scoreless over the first 28 minutes of the half.
Ah.
Pain for parlay bettors.
The NFL shared the stage with a college football bowl game this week.
The No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs defeated the No. 4 Buckeyes, Ohio, 42-41 in the CFP semifinals at the Peach Bowl on Saturday.
One person who feels as bad (or bad) as the Ohio Believers is an Indiana bettor who wagered $25 on a 4-leg in-game parley at +810.
Three of the legs saw Ohio State QB CJ Stroud over 288.5 yards (he threw for 348 yards), Marvin Harrison Jr. over 88.5 receiving yards (106 yards), and Harrison any time TD (he threw for 348 yards). 2 points) were recorded.
Four legs?
Moneyline, Ohio.
We all know how it ended. The bettor will receive a total of $227.50.
Irish end cover
The South Carolina Gamecocks (+4.5) were in decent shape late in the third quarter in the Gator Bowl with a 31-24 lead over Notre Dame on Friday.
However, the Irish tied the tie at 31 seconds on a 44-yard touchdown catch by Braden Rangey, and tied at 31 in the third.
The teams traded TDs and the Gamecocks tied at 38 on O’Donnell Fortune’s 100-yard interception return midway through the fourth.
These Gamecocks backers were still in decent shape at 4.5 points.
But Notre Dame dashed the bettors’ hopes with an 11-play, 80-yard drive that ended with Tyler Buchner’s 16-yard TD pass to Mitchell Evans to make it 45-38 with 1:38 left.
Gamecocks cover hopes were dashed by three imperfections and a sack.
You better call Saurus
The Sun Bowl between the UCLA Bruins and the Pittsburgh Panthers had one of the most intense finishes of the bowl season on Friday.
Pitt’s Ben Sauls kicked a 27-yard field goal to give the Panthers a 34-28 lead with 4:24 remaining.
Remember the name of Saurus.
UCLA then turned the ball down on their own 37 with 2:21 left.
After three plays and three timeouts by UCLA, Pitt lost a fumble at UCLA 30.
As time went on, UCLA marched down the field inspired by TJ Harden’s 34-yard run. Harden scored on an 8-yard run with 34 seconds left to give the Bruins a 35–34 lead.
UCLA put the Panthers in field goal range by allowing pass completions of 18 and 17 yards despite no pitting time-outs, and quarterback Nick Patty spiking the ball to the Bruins. 29 yards to a nifty 11-yard scramble. 10 seconds left.
Soles coolly kicks the winning 47-yard field goal with 4 seconds left as Pitt spreads (+6) and moneyline (+260, bet $10 to win $36 total) Gambler cashes in . UCLA was -357 on the moneyline. (Bet $10 to win a total of $12.80).
The Sauls went 5-for-5 on field goal attempts, including three in the fourth quarter.
Late Lateral State Cover
Talk about laterals going wrong!
After Mississippi State kicked a field goal to take a 3-point lead, bettors were well on their way to cash-in after letting Illinois cover 3.5 points. But the very wacky final play of the contest was an Illini lateral that ended in a Bulldog touchdown with no time remaining.
Stay tuned for more quirkiness!
