New episodes of Nebraska Public Media’s television and digital series “What If…” take viewers from Sandhill to our city, capturing innovation, creativity, invention and discovery along the way.
“What If…” will premiere on Nebraska Public Media on January 5 at 7:00 PM. Check out our collection of series and digital extras here.
Producer and host Mike Tobias tells stories about clever concepts and diverse characters as he pulls the curtain on the television production process.
The January 5th episode takes viewers to the “Future Farm” where researchers at the Gudmundsen Sandhills Laboratory at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln are working on new technologies like virtual fencing, automated feeders and 3D imaging.

A collection of over 30 videos are available with subtitles in English and Spanish, along with resources for teachers.
