CHICAGO (AP) — KC Ndefo scored 16 points as Seton Hall defeated DePaul 71-67 on Saturday.
Ndefo added 12 rebounds for the Pirates (11-8, 4-4 Big East Conference). Al-Amir Dawes added 15 points in his 8-for-4 from the floor. This includes his 5-for-3 from range and his 4-for-4 from the line. Femio Ducale scored his 12 points, shooting 4 of 7 and free throws he made 4 of 7 from the line. Tyrese Samuel has scored 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting.
Da’Sean Nelson finished with 15 points (8-10, 2-5) for the Blue Demons. Hiroshi Yasui gave DePaul his 13 points and his two stolen bases. Additionally, Umoja Gibson recorded his 11 points and 5 assists.
Seton Hall entered halftime tied with DePaul 39-39. Dawes scored nine points in the half. Seton Hall won 7-0 in the second half as he came back from a three-goal lead with 12:24 remaining to take the win with him leading 52-48. Ndefo scored his seven in the second half.

Both of these two teams will play on Wednesday. Seton Hall will host his UConn and DePaul will host Xavier.
