Milwaukee — Time is running out to vote for your favorite player for the 2023 NBA All-Star Game in Salt Lake City.
The All-Star voting period begins on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 (12:00 AM ET) and ends on Saturday, January 21, 2023 (11:59 PM ET). Fans can vote once per day during the voting period.
On Friday, January 20th, there will be a “3-for-1 day” where each fan vote will be counted 3 times.
What you need to know
- NBA All-Star Weekend takes place February 17-19 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
- On Thursday, Giannis Antetokounmpo clinched the top spot in the East, beating Brooklyn’s Kevin Durant by 132,014 votes.
- Fans make up 50% of the votes to determine the starter
- Fans can vote at Bucks.com/AllStar and click the Vote Now graphic.
The NBA All-Star Game starters, including the two team captains, will be revealed on TNT on Thursday, January 26 at 6:00 PM CST. The All-Star starter from each conference who gets the most fan votes in the conference is chosen to captain his team.
To determine the starters, fans will have 50% of the vote, with current NBA players and a media panel each having 25%.
On Thursday, two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo edged Brooklyn All-Star Kevin Durant by 132,014 votes to lead the Eastern voting.
