Milwaukee — The Big Apple has a taste of Brew City.
VISIT Milwaukee kicks off its 2023 marketing campaign on a billboard in Times Square, New York City. This is taking advantage of National Geographic’s “World’s Best” list listing Milwaukee as one of his 2023 best travel destinations.
The billboard is currently valid through January 1st and is located at 1540 Broadway. Attendees at Times Square’s New Year’s Eve celebrations are in close proximity to the sign.
The 35-by-23-foot billboard features four 15-second videos every hour highlighting Milwaukee’s lakefront, James Beard Award-winning cuisine, and attractions.
Josh Albrecht, VISIT Milwaukee’s Vice President of Marketing and Communications, said: “What better way to do this than to put up a sign at one of the world’s busiest intersections on New Year’s Eve?”
VISIT Milwaukee noted that this marketing initiative is just one of many efforts to raise awareness of Milwaukee in new markets.
