milwaukee – Two people were killed in a crash near the Houses of Parliament on the night of Wednesday, November 30th.The accident happened before 8:00 pm
“I was looking out the window and there was a car coming straight across,” said Marcus Blade. “Another car hit a tree with it, so I jumped off the stairs.”
Police said the vehicle was traveling east on W. Capitol Drive when it struck a tree after the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing the vehicle to catch fire.
Blade told FOX6 News that he tried to get the people inside the car out of the car.
“I was trying to unlock the door, and it was like unlocking the door,” Braid said. “When the flames got too hot, all I could hear him shout was ‘Help me, help me.’ I tried. I just couldn’t do it. “
Milwaukee Police said two people in the car died at the scene.
“We shouldn’t be here collecting your damn cell phones, OK, we shouldn’t be here crying,” said the victim’s grandmother, Victoria Burns.

The two deceased were aged 29 and 39, according to the Milwaukee County Coroner’s Office.
“My brother was 29 years old and a very kind and loving person,” said Alisha Thomas.
The family of 29-year-old Kent Thomas told FOX6 News that Kent was a passenger in the car and was being driven by a friend of his.
“Like we shouldn’t be here lamenting the loss of a traffic accident, like slowing down,” Thomas said.
The family said this should be a wake-up call to drivers.

“No matter what’s going on, stay calm. It’s other people, it’s other lives, it’s your child. You’re leaving your child behind,” Barnes said.
