With The Apprentice’s 2023 cast set to attend a board meeting, most viewers expect the candidate to already boast a huge social media following.

And while many of them litter their profiles with snaps showcasing their lavish lifestyles, beach selfies, and up-and-coming businesses, one contestant is breaking the mold.

Gregory Ebbs, a self-described “military history buff” based in Shropshire, has only 132 Instagram followers. That’s a lot different than opponents Rochelle Anthony’s 23.6k and Reese Donnelly’s 9,603.

As well as being in the antiques business, Gregory is also a local alderman, an avid hiker, and has a YouTube channel where he shares vintage finds.

An eccentric entrepreneur, he says his USP is “the ability to think outside the box and try new and different things” and confesses to being “a little more eccentric than most people.” increase.

With more challengers to face, the stakes for Series 17 are higher than ever. A would-be businessman and a business woman battle in the boardroom while the fearsome Black wants to avoid his cab.

This year’s group of nine men and nine women will do their best to impress Lord Sugar and his advisors Baroness Karen Brady, Tim Campbell and Claude Littner.
