Connecticut-based integrated marketing agency Adams & Knights announced a number of hires on Friday, including a new director of public relations.
According to the company’s press release, five employees will join Adams & Knights with the aim of expanding the company’s public relations, video production, paid media and program management functions.
Among the few leaders hired by Adams & Knights, one notable name is former journalist Michelle Bonner, who will serve as the company’s director of public relations.
Additionally, Malcolm Little will join as the company’s Media Account Manager, Karishma Pinto as Senior Marketing Program Manager, and Carson Boomquist as Creative Producer. Finally, Tess Meyers joins the agency as program manager.
Adams & Knights CEO Jill Adams said in a statement: “They each bring a fresh perspective and superior expertise that further enhances our agency’s capabilities and helps our clients achieve their marketing goals.”
Bonner comes to the company after a long career in broadcast journalism, including stints at ESPN, CNN and FOX. She previously worked as a consultant for a large non-profit organization in the Hartford, Connecticut area.
In the newly created role of Director of Public Relations, Bonner will focus on driving the earned media strategy and oversee public relations plans for healthcare clients.
Meanwhile, Little brings to Adams & Knights experience in integrated media campaign strategy, execution and oversight. Previously she worked for Outfront Media where she led the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns.
Pinto brings a background in project management to the role of Senior Marketing Program Manager, with a focus on travel/lifestyle as well as healthcare and education.
Previously, he worked as a Marketing Specialist at New Park Creative and held several different marketing roles at Leadership Greater Hartford and The Hartford Yard Goats.
Bloomquist will use his film and television writing, production and editing experience to focus on agency video campaigns. Lastly, Myers had a customer service background during his previous stint at her Liberty Mutual.
The mass hiring is the latest agency move in early 2023, with global healthcare communications company SCIRIS appointing Isaac Batley as CEO earlier this week.
